Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Sure, I've lived in FW for 40 years, coming here from Tyler, TX. I spent the majority of my career (over 30 years) in Corporate America in marketing and strategic business development. This journey started in the golf industry at the Ben Hogan Golf Company in the Sportswear Division, designing men's and women's golf apparel. The final chapter of this journey was with RadioShack Corporation as a Business Planning Manager. Prior to opening my skincare practice, I worked for a local salon & spa for 18 months to gain insight into the beauty industry.

What inspired you to start Ageless Perfection Skin Care?

I was part of a big layoff and wanted to do something different. Corporate America was changing, and not for the better. I'd always enjoyed caring for my skin and helping others. Additionally, being able to be my own boss and control my work schedule was exciting as well as a challenge.

How would you describe your experience as an entrepreneur in FW?

My experience has been good overall since opening Ageless Perfection Skin Care Studio. I was determined to build a practice that would benefit all ethnicities, and I have. Starting with a Groupon campaign and attending numerous networking events, then acquiring an Oncology Certification, which launched a new avenue for the practice. I’ve volunteered with the Look Good Feel Better organization to educate cancer patients on caring for their skin and nails.

What can clients expect when they visit your studio?

First and foremost, I want them to know that I take my craft serious and they are important to me. Additionally, I'd like for them to feel at ease and welcome. I'm dedicated to helping them address their concerns and goals for their skin.

Why did you choose to work with Skin Script products? Do you have a favorite?
